We’ve showed you some off the wall crashes from the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series before but this is the capper. Racers Casey Currie amd RJ Anderson get into one another while flying through the air in their trucks and land with violent consequences. Trucks tumble, endo, and eventually end up on top of another truck! Brian Deegan was minding his own business when one of these guys literally lands right on top of him. In true off road racer fashion, he hammers the throttle (with the truck literally on top of his) and drives out from underneath it and continues on his way, throwing dirt as he speeds off.
The trucks of Anderson and Currie are torn to shreds and both guys climb out after rides that we’re sure they do not want to take again any time soon. The in-truck film from Deegan’s cab is freaking amazing as you watch the other truck land on his and rather than tucking up and pulling his hands off the wheel, Deegan drives toward daylight and then brushes off the other racer without much drama. This is our kind of racing! Where else do you get to see trucks pretend to be airplanes, crash like unguided missiles, and then land on one another? Monster trucks? Ha! They don’t have spit on these lunatics.
