You’ve undoubtedly heard some stuff about the upcoming movie, “Drive” starring Ryan Gosling. The premise of the movie pretty much rules. A Hollywood stunt driver supplements his income as a getaway driver for seedy types and then things go wrong at a robbery and the big bad dudes want his hide.
This is the so-called “redband” trailer that is shown before R rated films. We didn’t see much crazy stuff in this thing as far as language or violence goes, so we’re recommend you keep the volumn down in your office or cube, but it is decently work safe, in our opinion anyway. There’s going to be a TON of awesome chase scenes in this film as well as a bunch of hot cars…most of which will probably get smashed to bits by the the end.
Let’s face it, most car movies suck. We like them because we’re into the scene, but for people who aren’t “car guys” there needs to be more plot and action to go along with the killer hot rods, muscle, and sports cars.
You can’t judge a two hour movie with a two minute trailer, but if the real thing stands up half as good as this trailer, we’re going to be happy as hell!
To get into the role, Ryan bought and totally rebuilt the 73 Chevelle and its 454 on his own. The car is in the movie and he still has the car. Cant wait to see it.

Looks a bit similar to a 70’s movie called Driver,with Ryan O’neal in the lead role; check it out,especially the wanton destruction of an early 220 Merc in a parking garage.Truly awesome!!
