Let The Anger Go: UCSMOKE Goes For The Final Kill After A Rough Brashernats’ Outing!

Let The Anger Go: UCSMOKE Goes For The Final Kill After A Rough Brashernats’ Outing!

For Steven Loader, the 2017 Brashernats proved to not be his lucky day at the skidpad with his Holden burnout car, UCSMOKE. During qualifying, one of the exhaust pipes came loose and barfed fire at the catch can…which caught fire, which melted the accelerator cable, which kept the 1969 Holden from making the qualification round, which meant that he wasn’t in the final round. Given that Loader has been the champion two years running, that had to be a swift kick in the kiddies, knowing that you put in all that effort, all that work, and drove all those miles just to let the car sit out of the fun. However, that didn’t stop Loader from fixing the car…after scoring a new cable from Rick Fuller and getting the Holden back right, Mick Brasher gave Loader the opportunity to shut Brashernats 2017 down. And he did just that, wailing on the engine like a man venting all of the anger and frustration of the defeat out in one long, smoky, violent rip on the skidpad. He might not have taken home the championship, but twenty-to-one says that he was feeling much, much better about everything after this tire-nuking meltdown!
