As we learned early on in BangShift’s existence with Burnout Mondays, if you think an Australian is down for taking the silver medal in the tire-frying competition, we have some very bad news for you. They have a sport solely for the immediate capital punishment of every vulcanized rubber hoop they can get their hands on, fire tends to be involved and the only thing that will stop the madness once it starts is the tire being torn to shreds, a fire or a piston attempting to make it to the International Space Station once it bursts free from the block under boost. They will not stop until they get the win light in burnouts, and don’t tell them someone from the U.S. does it better…that’s a fight and a challenge in one shot, and they will take you up on both counts.
Powercruise USA recently went down up in Brainerd, Minnesota and a few Aussies made the trip with their machines…one of which is Rodney Waters and “KRANKY”, his Holden screamer that is infamous for a fire burnout that torched some of the greenery back in 2012. Don’t think of this as a pure burnout machine and instead think of a Pro Fairgrounds kind of build that is actually beat on like a rented mule, to the point of having to repaint every now and then, just to keep up the appearances. It’s been a drag car, is a show car and oh, yeah, just so happens to be able to vaporize the rear meats on a whim. And it’s damn good at that job. Do yourself a favor…count how long it takes for the Holden to fogbank the Hoonigan playpen lot!
awesome car love the rpm and the noise
