You don’t know the name Houston Hooker. You probably don’t know the name Kanan Hooker…he’s one of the producers for Hoonigan and part of the reason you’re seeing this video in the first place. But I bet good money that plenty of you know their dad, Buddy Joe Hooker. Buddy Joe is, in very short terms, one of Hollywood’s best when it comes to combining danger, automobiles, and serious crunching noises…the gentleman is in the Stuntman Hall of Fame for a reason, and whether you are a Bond fan or you re-watch the Charger vs. Challenger chase in Death Proof over and over, you know his work. Well, the kids don’t fall too far from the tree, it seems…Kanan owns one of the Novas used on Death Proof and as for Houston…well, you’re about to see what his ride is all about. This 1947 Cadillac Coupe is his ride and it’s a pretty solid old rod. Packing a blown small-block Chevy under the hood and clean from every angle, the Caddy had to be shown off at least once or twice at the Donut Garage, right?
