But the strip isn’t all that sees action out there…and it isn’t limited to street cars, either. The Mud Down in T-town is a race unto itself, and is for mega trucks…you know, high-horsepower, tall-tired overbuilt off-roading rigs that lie somewhere between your standard lifted mud truck and a monster truck? Yeah…a race for those monsters.

Here’s how it works: the trucks launch, clear two jumps, cut a 180-degree turn around a barrel, and race back, leaping over one more jump, for a time. Sounds easy enough, right? You try to get tens of thousands of pounds of tall truck to turn a complete about-face on a dime without reaching for something to hold onto!
