NHRA Unleashed at National Trail this weekend, plus more video.

NHRA’s new UnLeashed series is visiting Hebron Ohio’s National Trail Raceway this weekend for the 3rd UnLeashed event of 2010. If you are looking for some of the quickest and fastest small tire doorslammer action in the country, you should be at National Trail on September 10-11. UnLeashed racing continues late into the night and if Round 2 in Indy was any indication we’ll be racing under the lights and having a great time. We’ll be there all weekend, as BangShift’s own Chad Reynolds is the voice of NHRA UnLeashed, so make sure you come by and check out all the action with us.

You’ll see small tire legends like Monte Smith, Hank Hill, Chad Henderson, Keith Szabo and more. And whether you are a Nitrous, Turbo, or Supercharger fan, you’ll find cars to root for at UnLeashed. In addition, you can come try out for the new TV Show, “Who wants to be a racecar driver?” This is a killer deal, because if you win the show, you’ll be getting a Lucas Oil SuperComp dragster to run for free for an entire year. The entire operation is funded for you. Who wouldn’t want a free ride for a year. Give it a shot when you come to UnLeashed.

NHRA UnLeashed is unlike any NHRA race you’ve ever attended. With a loud and obnoxious roving announcer who spends more time huffing tire smoke on the starting line than sitting in a booth looking at a screen, it’s a good time had by all. This weekends event will include a $25 test and tune on Friday from 10am to 3pm. $25 is a screaming deal, and any cars in the lanes at 3pm will be allowed to make their last run.

Check out the latest video from UnLeashed below, and we’ll see you at National Trail.
