My inbox is stil flooded with pure venom that is due 110% to LS Fest. And I didn’t even do my “LS in a non-GM car” gallery this year! Why the hate? Partly it’s due to this permeating disgust for the LS architecture, but mostly it is due to a purist streak that says, “This make should only have this engine, AND NEVER SHOULD THERE BE ANOTHER!”
As you can tell, I’m not that big on that idea.
Hot rodding started with people digging in the scrap pile to make something that would move. So, if a Cadillac engine was present and ready to go, of course it wound up in the framerails of a Deuce Ford. The little Sunbeam Alpine didn’t come from the factory with a 289 Ford in it originally…but shove one in with enough grease, and you now have a Tiger on your hands. And yes, I got excited seeing a Mitsubishi Eclipse with an LSX powertrain running tens on the strip. But that’s child’s play compared to what the guys from Donut Media dug up in their search for the “best” engine swaps. Wildest, no doubt…the radial-powered Plymouth from Colorado certainly fits that bill. What else makes the cut? Click play below and see for yourself. Unless you are all about purity…then, have an aspirin at the ready first.
they forgot \”no big thing\”
So why is there an electric car in there?
Who cares about overgrown slot cars that are loved by muesli munching teetotalers with should we say male size orientated issues…..
How about Ford Transit Supervan 1 & 2
