This Dirt Bike Is GSXR 1000 Powered! And As You Might Expect, It Hauls Some Ass And Throws Dirt

Modern dirt bikes are fast. I’m talking wicked fast. With the advancement of 4-stroke engine technology in dirt bikes over the past decade or two the bikes have gotten insanely fast, even without the old 2-stroke mentality. The newest Motocross bikes, in 450cc sizes like they race at the Professional Supercross and Motocross levels, come stock with about 60 horsepower if you were pick one up at a dealer. But what if you could add a bit more? How about more than 100 horsepower more?

Well that is exactly what this GSXR 1000 Superbike powered dirt bike is all about. In fact, this is actually a GSXR 1000 that has been modified with more traditional dirt bike suspension. And it throws a roost and hauls ass on dirt like nothing we’ve ever seen.

Watch.

good lord, just what you need,a rocket powered dirt bike—to start with, the speed this thing is capable of,do you really think knobbies are a good idea?pretty sure they’re not speed rated for terminal velocity–maybe if you want to blast across the open desert at 140 or so,but on a forest trail? big power is fun,but ask anyone who’s wrestled a heavy dirt bike thru a knarly section of dirt for any length of time how much fun it is—stretch the swingarm, and you would have a nice hill climber, but put lights on it and street drive it? don’t we have enough sportbike squids who want to impress everyone with wheelies thru traffic?

For the last several years you could just go the BMW dealer and get a S1000XR off of the showroom. ( same engine as the S1000RR )

If they would only make it black with white pinstripes, they way it should look … oh well.

WAY too heavy, center of gravity 2ft too low for dirt,
bet it jumps horribly. still looks like fun, but id put my
CR500R against it anytime. theres a REASON its legal
to race a 250 four stroke in the 125 class, and 450 four
    strokes in the 250 class…….

This thing is an ill handling tank. Not the first try with something like this. Yawn…….
