Tuesday Burnout Video: We Americans Know How To Make Smoke, But Are The Aussie’s Better?

Tuesday Burnout Video: We Americans Know How To Make Smoke, But Are The Aussie’s Better?

I think it depends on your definition of burnout. In Australia they do donuts and all kinds of stuff and it is a riot to watch. Here we are about lots of tire smoke, and not as much movement. I do have to say that I really want to find myself a good lot to get my Australian style burnout on. Today I have a video that is not as action packed, but has a ton of tire smoke for sure. It’s from the recent SRG Detialing Summer Meltdown Car Show in Pennsylvania. We don’t know how the rest of the show was, but we know the burnout contest was big. Major kudos for doing it on the asphalt and for not blocking the tires and all that crap. It actually forces people to know how to do a  burnout or brake stand that way. We dig it.

Check it out!

Although I am not the biggest fan of burnout contests, I have inadvertantly seen dozens and dozens of them. The worst that the Australians have to offer makes our best look weak-suck. Damn lawyers

Horsefeathers ! Those Aussies are good at doing a lot of things . But they’re not better than us at doing anything ! Fact is … if truth be told ….. their entire Hot Rod and Custom culture is just an imitation of what we’ve been doing for decades . Mighty fine bunch of cars over there mind you . But not in comparison to ours .

Now the Swedes ? Well ….. that just might be a completely different story .

Mate, i have to reply to that one – sure,we do love American muscle but to say that our ENTIRE culture is an imitation of America’s is just plain wrong. What about all the AUSTRALIAN cars? If you added up all the modified cars in this country American cars would be far less than 50% of what are on our roads. And as for the burnouts, how do you figure the US is better at it? You guys chain your car to a concrete pad for 30 seconds and have a team of lawyers handy – unlike Aussies who let everything hang out until both tyres pop – oh, any why do you figure the Swedes are so unique? Not having a go at them but Ive only ever seen them do US cars or Volvo’s….

Guitar slinger; regardless of our origins of car culture-our burnouts kick the crap outta American ones,no question!!!

I love America, but the Aussies whoop our @#$%@! when it comes to burnouts. Look up power skids. Aussies are masters of that too!!!
