The sun is up and there’s about seven hours left of racing at the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. We got tipped off last night that the Autism Speaks team that Jim Pace is driving on has a live streaming camera bolted to their car. This rules pretty hard as we have shown Jim racing all kinds of stuff over the years here but we have never been able to watch his go to work live. The slight catch/caveat we have to throw in is that we’re not 100% sure Jim is driving the car at any given time. The teams rotate drivers, so we’re not sure Jim is the actual meat in the seat at this exact moment.
We’ve spent hours and hours watching Daytona live feed action since yesterday and we plan on sticking with it until the checkered flag flies to mark the end of the contest early this afternoon. This race is always seen as the kickoff of the American racing season and this year is no different. We’ve been so starved as racing fans that this is the ultimate bone being thrown to us! Grab some chips and whatever adult beverage you favor and tune in to see Jim Pace and his team thunder around the Daytona course in their Corvette prototype!
