Sliding Sideways Is Only The Start To This 3000 Horsepower Corvette’s Bad Day – This Thing Really Can Fly!

Sliding Sideways Is Only The Start To This 3000 Horsepower Corvette’s Bad Day – This Thing Really Can Fly!

3000 horsepower. That isn’t a number meant for a car, it’s meant more for a healthy-sized vessel. Yet here we have a C6 Corvette packing that insane figure running the airstrip at the WannaGOFAST event at the Sulphur Springs Regional Airport runway. Packing twin 88mm turbos and enough grunt to embarrass plenty of heavy-duty machinery, this Z06 can romp when the time comes. So what the hell is going on in that picture? Well, you see, the target number for the driver of the Corvette is 200 miles an hour, yet the runway has a short stopping area followed by…well, a lake. We all know from drag racing that when things are going from bad to wrong that throwing out the laundry is a good last-ditch effort to bring the situation under control…and with the Corvette that far sideways, any control would probably be welcomed. Kyle and the 1320Video crew got the whole incident from launch to…well, launch. Something tells us that this bit of footage will end up in one of their Top 10 videos soon…take a look!

I like the lake at the end…kinda gives the “pucker factor” to the event. Wanna really go fast…NO THANKS!

Might should use something a bit more substantial than Tek screw to attach the parachutes.

Maybe his shakedown run should have been a indicator of what might happen when he turned up the wick!

    More money than brains…
