Slo-Mo Coolness Video – Flying Truck, Frying Tires, Chargers Careening Around The Desert

Slo-Mo Coolness Video – Flying Truck, Frying Tires, Chargers Careening Around The Desert

The guys over the the MotorTrend Channel released their last video of the year yesterday and it is a fun two minute slow-motion film showing everything from a 6×6 Mercedes truck getting big air to Freiburger and Finngean sliding and bashing their way around the desert in the now famous Charger that they brought back to life in the episode of Roadkill we showed you last week. We’re not sure that there is a cooler place for slow motion video to be featured  than cars then the realm of high performance cars and automotive tomfoolery. There’s a Rolls totally getting after it with the tire blazing and the driver counter steering and it is pretty neat to see that huge car getting its lean-on with with gas pedal laid flat to the floor.

The one thing that stuck out to us and that will probably stick out to you is the fact that the vast majority of these clips feature some high end, exotic, or otherwise beautiful cars and/or scenery….then there’s the Charger which sticks out like a sore thumb. That’s sticking out like a sore thumb in a good way, for the record. We’ve got to hand it to the MotorTrend channel video guys and girls because they have had a great year. Their programming is top shelf and we’ve enjoyed watching a lot of it (and being in a little of it!).
