Being as near to the Arctic Circle as Finland is, it’s no surprise that the locals can handle snow and ice. Whereas Brian has been dealing with a pattern of snow/shovel/repeat, the Finns simply adapt and overcome. Case in point is visible right here: it’s dark, owing to the low sun, but a rally-prepared Porsche GT3, a Triumph Daytona on studs, and a Polaris RMK snowmobile come out to play at the Levi Rally Center in Lapland. We’ve seen cars play on the ice before, and we’re always impressed by someone willing to ride a sport bike on the slick stuff, but adding a snowmobile to the fun just makes it that much better. We can’t think of a better way to enjoy the cold that doesn’t involve a warm fireplace and something to sip on.
