Tractor and truck pulling is a whole different kind of motorsport, that relies on all kinds of physics principles to make pulling a sled 300 plus feet a reality. They use leverage, power, center of gravity, and more to put the power to the ground and pull that jillion pound sled. Horsepower and torque are clearly really important, so engine combos are a secret I’m sure, but turbochargers, weights, and gears all have a huge impact on the overall performance and are often dependent on track conditions.
