This modified Polaris RZR UTV was built to rip around a special course set up on Mount Baker in Washington State for R.J. Anderson, who is the driver for the XP1K2 video for UTVUnderground.com. Pro driver, built vehicle, off-road paradise…sounds like a good plan to us! Mount Baker offers plenty of challenging terrain, from fire roads that have a hint of pre-paved Pikes Peak to the rainforest-like interior of the woods, there is nothing easy about where Anderson is going to take the Polaris. Reportedly it took 40 crew members and two weeks to prepare the course and film the Polaris getting a good workout, but he makes every single little thing he does look flawless. The RZR is already a very capable side-by, so when they say they had to “heavily modify” it in order for it to survive what R.J. was planning on putting it through, you know you’re in for a good show and he delivers. Just in case you were expecting tires and a muffler, think again: there are Walker Evans shocks on this Polaris. Yes, THAT Walker Evans. There are two world-record jumps made in this video: a 170ft jump and a 100ft gap clearing. But those are just two footnotes in an otherwise killer display of vehicle control. Hit play below and see for yourself…you will be glad you did.

This was playing on a huge screen in the Polaris booth in the hallway at SEMA, that and awesome racer chick Katie V made that a favorite area.
Pretty cool but…WTF “to be continued?” Will the next segment be when “Bigfoot” comes out of the forest and takes a dump on his hood?
