We’re going to round out the week here at BangShift in style. This video features a late 1970s/early 1980s Monte Carlo judging by the interior. The car is equipped with a screaming 408ci small block Chevy engine, a G-Force clutchless five-speed transmission, and a well sorted rear suspension. When this guy drops the hammer, the car climbs into a nice wheelie and sets down just as he is yanking the handle into second gear.
Another great point of this video is the fact that it gets right down to business. The thing opens up with him grabbing a couple of gears in the water box and then he is right in to stage. No waiting around and that’s the way we like them. The car sounds killer, especially when he knocks it into fifth gear and the car pulls strongly through the lights.
Crank the speakers, press play below and grab gears along with the dude in this Monte!
Damn, that thing runs quick, even though the gear shift lever is in Park! LOL…
Either a Malibu or a Monte Carlo
Looks like Cordova, a BangShift approved race track
It is Cordova. You can see the name on the tower..Bangshift needs to cover the World Series there in the fall…
Sweeet, nothing sounds hotter than a screaming V8, thanks for the amazing ride
