The Parting Shift: An 11-Second Pass in a 30,000-Mile Hemi GTX

The Parting Shift: An 11-Second Pass in a 30,000-Mile Hemi GTX

We realize that many of you have checked out for Thanksgiving weekend, but that won’t stop us from posting our now-traditional, week-ending Parting Shift item. This time it’s from BangShift.com member Hemi Joel, who is Joel Nystrum. You might recognize his name as the guy who was the first to have a Mopar in the 10s at a Factory Appearing Stock Tire race. He knows what’s up with Hemi cars.

That brings us to his video, wherein a none-too-bright pal sits in the back seat filming Joel as he rows the four-speed in his black, 30,000-original-mile, 1967 Plymouth GTX Hemi car during an 11-second pass. This is the way we like to see muscle cars treated! BangShift approved.
