I’ve been drooling over cafe racers for a few years, but recently I’ve looked at all kinds of bikes being transformed from the mundane to the awesome. Such is the case with this Honda CX500. Stock these are boring looking bikes that just don’t do much for me. In fact, their shaft drive and controls layout is not what anyone would normally associate with the cafe racer style. But as you can see here, those things are pretty easily remedied with some creativity and skill.

We think this thing is awesome and would ride the hell out of it. What weird bike do you think would make a cool cafe racer after seeing this one come together?
