It’s official, finally: we have entered winter. The passing of the winter solstice on Friday means that the daylight hours are going to start getting longer and that we are on the way to blooming flowers, growing grass, and warm temperatures…in a few months. In between now and then, we have gray, cold and nasty conditions that leave us wishing for one of two things. If you’re like me, you spend your time on Google looking at pictures of Tahiti, Phoenix and everything in Australia right now and sigh quietly to yourself as you stare out the window to a misty world of mud. But then there are those who embrace winter, the snow, the ice, and the fun that can be had. I’m all about some fun in the snow…it’s the one part of winter that actually makes sense. If it’s gonna be cold, at least let it snow, right?

Two skis, one track, an engine and a meat bag that has an urgent need for an adrenaline fix compose the powered sled, and in off-the-showroom floor condition they are plenty capable of providing that speed fix.
