Alright, Nick, let’s get a few things straight between us. Pretty much every year we ask only a few things from you, and every year your rotund bearded Artic-dwelling ass ignores us on every turn. We ask for peace on Earth…we know it’s a longshot, but could you at least act like you’re trying to work on it? We ask for goodwill towards your fellow man…with a slow clap we congratulate you on the progress and strides you’ve made there, too. What’s the excuse there, too busy clearing out the reindeer stalls? 

Then there is Item #3. What have we asked for here? Just one item a year, something that would bring joy and happiness to our little corner of the world. We’ve asked for a 1968 Camaro, a 1972 Dodge Charger, a 2004 Ford F-650, or anything that could be considered equal to any of the above. We’ve been patient. We’ve quietly waited, simmering to ourselves. And we’ve come to the conclusion that you must’ve lost our letters from years past. We are willing to forgive those past transgressions, no matter how badly they hurt (Seriously, fat man…NASCAR-powered Charger?! How could you forget?!! -McT) but we have a compromise for you, one that all three of us could get behind. One item, three people. It’s less work for you and equal amounts of joy for us. It’s a win-win situation, you overrated package delivery service, and all you have to do is make it appear for Christmas.

The item in question is a 1978 GMC C-15. It’s a factory shortbox big-block truck that still looks absolutely amazing after forty years. That suits Brian’s truck fetish. It’s packing a Dyers blower on that 454, which will more than take care of McTaggart’s need to be shoved into the back of the seat with a tickle of the throttle pedal. And if you think that Chad won’t go nuts over a clean square-body truck that looks like this…prove to him this is coming and he’ll leave you something better than cookies and milk on the table near the fireplace, we promise you. We aren’t saying it’ll be a cash bribe, but we aren’t ruling that out, either.
