Original old city, county, and state vehicles have always been cool finds as are utility trucks, railroad vehicles, etc. Hell, anything with a logo on the side of it makes everyone drool. That’s why so many people put old style logos on trucks and cars so they have that look. But when you find something unique, like the A108 Ambulance here, you grab hold of it if you can. This thing is special, and the story behind getting it is pretty cool.
When you can drive it, enjoy it, and get as much attention with it as this one then that’s pretty special indeed.
Here is Holley’s description of the video:
If you look in the back of Steve Lucas’s 1969 Dodge A108 Ambulance Van, you’ll spot the factory-equipped gurney, and a leather bag containing the original defibrillator equipment. This interesting, original ride, long decommissioned from its city of servitude, gets driven and enjoyed regularly. From serving as a camping rig to the center of attention at car shows, this Dodge survivor has found a loving home.
