A tornado is one of Nature’s most fear-inducing phenomena, and for good reason: from beginning to end, there is no good news that comes out of the appearance of a funnel cloud. When the sky turns sickly green and starts to spin, the only two things you ever need to listen to are your self-preservation instincts and the National Weather Service. Luckily, even though it’s dark, powerful and loud, what you are seeing isn’t a tornado. This is “Hoenado”, which sounds like a legendary night out on the town, but in reality is a ProCharged mega truck that doesn’t mess around. The great big ‘Hoe runs an LS3 with an F2 breathing down it’s neck, a 4L80 with a 3,800 RPM stall converter and a transbrake. That sounds like quarter-mile equipment, but in this massive mommy wagon, it’s simply a one-truck path-maker through just about any damn thing it’s pointed at. The guys at DMD Off-Road have built the automotive equivalent of a bull elephant in the middle of a rage…well done!
