With a fourth place finish in the Top Fuel category last season Antron Brown enters 2011 with some momentum behind him. Antron, since making the switch from Pro Stock Motorcycle to Top Fuel in 2008 he has become one of the most feared and successful drivers in the class. With the resources and skills of Don Schumacher’s team behind his Matco Tools entry combined with his proved ability to slay the treee, that fact should not be much of a surprise. 

Outside of the seat, Brown is one of the coolest dudes in drag racing. He handles throngs of fans, media people, and the general zoo that is the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series without breakinf a sweat. Some drivers wear stress on the sleeves of their firesuit, Brown is not one of them.

It will be interesting to see how Antron and the Matco team step up to meet the challenges of 2011, particularly the team of defending champion Larry Dixon.
