Yesterday we took you on a photo tour of the coolest gearhead museum in America, the Speedway Motors Museum of American Speed founded by the legendary, “Speedy Bill” Smith. Today, we’re going one better on you by bringing video of our own Chad interviewing the man himself along with a bunch of the other rodders that he’s been rolling with. The questions center around the family dynamic in the hot rod hobby, traditions, memories, and how to keep the sport alive for future generations.
Those of us lucky enough to grow up in gearhead families have lots of good stories to share and fall back on around the camp fire or pits at night. Those are memories none of us would ever trade out and the ability to pass those stories along helps keep the next generation of hot rodders interested and engaged in the hobby. The interviews, combined with some great footage from the museum make this a very enjoyable watch!
