We like the Waltrips, and Darrell has always been entertaining, but this video might be some of his best yet. While in Australia for the Bathurst 1000, Waltrip went out for a ride in one of the Australian V8 Supercars. A ride I said. He did not drive it. As a passenger, DW was not a happy camper, and I have to say I understand. I am a driver, and although I get to ride along in a lot of cool cars, it is only a few of them that keep me feeling comfortable. I want the wheel in my hand, and clearly DW did as well. At least he was sitting on the “right” side instead of sitting over ther on the wrong side of the car. The looks on his face and the crap that comes out of his mouth are priceless. So is the interview afterward.

We would love to drive one of those evil Australian beasts, but we are fairly sure that chance isn’t coming along anytime soon. When it does, I’ll jump on it with both feet. If a ride is offered, I’ll take it, but this would be one time when I would rather be on the “passenger” side.
