Video: The Theatrical Trailer For “Out Of Nothing” A Feature Level Film On Four Close Knit Bonneville Racers

Video: The Theatrical Trailer For “Out Of Nothing” A Feature Level Film On Four Close Knit Bonneville Racers

We happened to stumble across this awesome trailer for the film, “Out of Nothing” recently and have watched the thing about 100 times since. It is a feature level film about four guys who build their own stuff, scrape together their own money, and attack the salt on their own terms as racers. There’s no hokey drummed up drama, no lame ass script, just real racers getting it done. These guys all compete on highly modified motorcycles, some of which look like the scariest things ever, especially at the speeds we assume that they go. Dig the bike that sits about an inch off the ground!

The film is going to be released independently in several cities as the film makers are working on a deal for larger distribution. We’ll keep our ears on with regard to what cities will get a viewing and when that may be. You can follow the film on Facebook by CLICKING HERE TO VISIT THE OUT OF NOTHING FACEBOOK PAGE.

We want your opinion. Press play below and watch the trailer, tell us what you think. It looks like a slam dunk to us because the story telling is genuine, the camera work is beautiful, and the subjects of the film seems to be guys who are legitimately obsessed with getting to the salt and testing their mettle against the elements, history, and all of the mechanical and physical demons that can strike when pushing custom equipment to speeds heretofore unknown. It looks bitchin’ to us…what say you?

there was a two-part BBC documentary called “Speed Dreams – The Fastest Place on Earth” that follow four groups of guys from Britain to Bonneville. It was fairly drama free and a really interesting watch to see what the guys had to go through, not only to get there but while running on the salt.

Me and my Father went to the Salt flats in 2007 with nothing. we drove a 78 motor home we finished a week before we left, built a wooden walls for a car trailer that we barrowed from my uncle. and went through 5 tires on the way there and back. I was 13, not even barley 3 weeks out of grammar school yet I drove the pick up vehicle witch was the motor home with the trailer after his runs. all together stayed 3 days got 5 runs. top speed of 167.8 MPH on a 95% stock 1990 ZX-10 all he did was jet the carburetors and put an MSD ignition box. along with the safety precautions required at Bonneville.

Out of nothing is what a lot of people do.
