One of the big hyped up deals leading into the 2013 Baja 1000 was a never before publicly completed corkscrew truck jump that was to be completed by Adrian Cenni in his Pro 4 truck. We had heard for weeks leading up to this that Cenni had wrecked all kinds of truck in practice and had managed to crash in about every which way possible. The jump was set up and completed in the infamous “wash” that competitors have to power though on their way out of Ensenada, Mexico at the start of the 1000.
In front of a massive crowd, camera, and assembled media, Cenni lined up the truck, hit the cool compound ramp and launched his truck at least two stories into the air and actually got the truck turned all the way over and it touched down on its wheels. This is an amazing stunt and in many ways more impressive than the old Astro Spiral Jump because here the truck has to complete the entire revolution and land back on a flat surface rather than going ramp to ramp. (Not that the Astro Sprial Jump is any less insane….we’re splitting hairs but frankly Cenni earned that)
This video shows the jump from a few angles both in real time and slow motion so you can revel in the majestic craziness of this stunt. Congrats to Adrian Cenni, this is one for the books!

Woweeeee
Meh, take him out of the fully prepped race truck and put him in an AMC Hornet and see if he will try it again. Sorry the Hornet still rules all.
The music makes this clip hard to watch.
Some ones idea of good music – I think NOT.
Always good to do a stunt in a location that has no regard to the safety of the public.
