Our grandparents had a mid-1980s Ford LTD station wagon for a long stretch through the 1980s and 1990s. It was a complete and total barge, good transportation, but slower than a fully laden mule team. Keeping that in mind, when we saw this Ford ad with Bob Bondurant behind the wheel, we had to laugh out loud.
