And so it begins….
Our week of non-stop new parts, new cars, new everything from the 2013 SEMA show gets going right now with this video teaser showing a couple of the more interesting angles of The Goodguys G/RS Camaro that was built for them by the crew at RideTech. Bret and the gang have gone all out on this thing and this video will give you but a taste of the awesome we’ll bring you later with lots more detail photos and information on the drivetrain, suspension, rolling stock, interior, paint, and every other damned thing you could possibly want to know about this Camaro. What’s really neat is that you’ll be able to see it for yourself during the Goodguys 2014 tour as this car will be on the road, on the autocross, and on everyone’s smart phones when they are blasting photos of it. We’re in a tent outside the convention center right now so we can be first in line to get a good spot for the unveil this morning. We likey…we likey LOTS!
Here’s the skinny behind the car –
“After 17 months, many 17 hour days and some serious painstaking attention to detail, the long awaited debut of the Goodguys ‘Project G/RS” ’69 Camaro is here. The car will be unveiled by builder Bret Voelkel and his RideTech team Tuesday morning, November 5th at the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association booth (#22375) at the SEMA Show.
The Goodguys Project G/RS Camaro will be used to further promote the Goodguys brand throughout the country on the open road as well as on the Goodguys AutoCross course and other driving events. The car has become an official icon within the Goodguys logo.
Please join us at our booth #22375 on Hot Rod Alley at 10am Tuesday 11/5 for the Grand Unveiling!”
