Wintertime Boredom Is The Only Reason Why Someone Would Make A Paragliding Snowmobile!

Wintertime Boredom Is The Only Reason Why Someone Would Make A Paragliding Snowmobile!

For many people in the northern sections of the country, the cabin fever from the snow is a very real issue. Winter is in it’s late phase…just a few weeks left to go until Spring comes back for another round. It’s been a few months of cold temperatures, snow and ice freaking everywhere, and days upon days of looking out of the window and muttering something that sounds suspiciously like, “eff that”, as you make your way into the kitchen to fix yourself something warm to drink. Or maybe that would be just me. Some people don’t mind the cold and some really sick individuals look out at a sea of snow and see a gigantic playground.

Meet one such sick individual here.

I can understand wanting to break out a snowmobile while everything is covered in snow. That sounds like something I’d happily get behind…it’s just another off-road vehicle to me and snowmobiles can haul some serious ass, if the ones I’ve seen at dragstrips are any real indication. And I’ve seen snowmobiles fly…just not like this. Usually, a gigantic jump and a rider with either an empty skull or an overstuffed jock strap is involved when a snowmobile takes flight. This might be the first time I’ve ever seen someone go all-out and just strap on a paragliding system onto a snowmobile to see what would happen! The ‘chute isn’t enough for long sustained flight but there’s no doubt that it’s helping lift the sled towards the sky!
