Most drag racing crashes are violent and abrupt. The cars are meant to excel at nothing other than going straight, so when the program changes, big time flaws are exposed. In this video from BangShift member “Nitro Art Video” you’ll see a bad ass Chevy S-10 Blazer launch of the starting line at Houston Motorsporrts Park. After the launch, things get interesting.
It looks like water or some other fluid gets under one rear tire, and since there is a spool back there, the whole thing gets ugly quick. The driver did everything he could to keep himself from hitting the wall, which preserved the corners of the body, but the side got a little scuffed up when it went semi-turtle.
This is one of the more graceful “rubber side up” trips you’ll see!
Thanks for the tip NitroArt!
The girl seems pissed
What’s with that track ? It seems to love to eat cars every season.
That’ll buff right out….
