Your Moment Of Zen: A Traxxas Remote-Controlled Ford Bronco Romping On The Beach

Your Moment Of Zen: A Traxxas Remote-Controlled Ford Bronco Romping On The Beach

The world is going by fast, a cacophony of noise, stress, and events that seem to flash by before you even knew they were happening. Every day, same thing: eat three meals, work, sleep. Over and over. You know what you need? A vacation, even for just a few minutes. Allow me to take a page out of my book and bring you to a beach that, at first glance, sure looks like it’s somewhere in the Pacific Northwest, maybe even Puget Sound. There are several spots around the Sound that I loved to go find solace and serenity at…the Ruston Way waterfront park in Tacoma, Mukilteo Beach, or even the beach near Burley Lagoon. Nice places, nice views. But you know what would make those views all that much more? How about a little baby Ford Bronco playfully splashing around in the surf?

The Traxxas TRX4 is, by their own description, a “scale and trail crawler”, which means that in the world of remote-controlled vehicles, it’s the more realistic setup. You get portal axles on a steel frame with steel link arms and aluminum scale shocks. It’s a bad bit of kit, and with the 1979 Bronco body on it, you’d be forgiven for thinking that it’s real at some angles, especially when it’s fitted with the LED light kit that you can get as an add-on. So long as you had a way to charge up the batteries between beach cruises, tell me you couldn’t spend all day on the beach playing with a toy truck.

Dub in some V8 sounds and most people wouldn’t know that is an RC car. That thing is so cool!!! And that definitely looks like the Pacific NW. I’m thinking up near Camino Island?
