Just when you thought it was safe to go outside, the Jeremy Mayfield situation ‘splodes once again. Lisa Mayfield, the stepmom that Jeremy has publicly called a “whore” and who he accused of killing his dad, was arrested last Saturday night at his home in Catawba, North Carolina, and charged with assault and trespassing.

With the history of bad relations between these two (Lisa Mayfield testified on behalf of NASCAR that she had witnessed Jeremy using meth some 30 times, and subsequently sued Jeremy for defamation), we should have seen somehting like this coming.

All we know is that there are one set of lawyers doing high-fives and back slaps and another chugging Maalox. NASCAR attornies cannot be pleased with this development.
