We always get pissed when we see some dweeb in a European sedan treating the highway like an autocross course. Somewhere in the back of our mind we start thinking about the potential for a disastrous wreck when the jackass zigs instead of zagging. We then found this video that takes our nightmare scenario and brings it to life, in living color.
The victims in this whole scene are a couple people minding their own business, driving down the highway like normal people. In a flash, a BMW (as the video claims, but we think it could be a VW Passat…oh wait, we don’t give a shit either way) tries to split the lane between two cars, vaulting in the air while simultaneously causing the innocent victims to hit one another and roll over. All of this footage is caught on the dash cam of one of the wrecked cars!
We have no idea if the guy got away or if his car was too wounded to continue. We hope like hell he got busted!
it’s fairly certain he kept right on going, then later turned the accident in to his isurer as a phantom hit and run. Or just reported the car stolen.
The shape says E46 3 series to me.
I see that kind of machismo crap all the time. I drive for my pay check. Just last night a mini cooper did just about the same maneuver and almost caused another wreck like this one. What’s the point of it all…
