We have to thank(?)BangShift.com forum member SpeedService for the tip on this one. Long story short, someone in Brazil, Indiana, took a Ford Festiva, which is one of the weeniest little cars ever to set go-kart sized wheels on American roads, and turned it into a dump truck with a hauling capacity of about 47 pounds. WTF indeed.
We’re nearly at a loss for words. Anything more than a wheelbarrow or two worth of stone, manure, body parts, GI Joe action figures, or granola would force this “truck” into a wheelstand and render it useless as the front wheels pull it along. We’re not sure of the load range on the radials spinning on 13-inch wheels, but we’d say it’s not E.
Fear not, it does have a roll cage.

Those are 12’s…not 13’s.
And the festiva is one of the greatest cars ever made.
Yep the festiva is one of the greatest cars ever made. Swap in a BP and you instantly have a 1/4 mile beast.
Yep, festiva is the best car ever made. It will haul WAY more than the OP thinks.

I know of 10 with over 500,000 miles. They are quick, nimble, huge inside, and can get over 50 mpg. They are also cheap and easy to mod and can be VERY fast when modded. Look at the reviews on carsurvey.org. Everybody who owns them says it’s the best car they’ve ever had. Look on YouTube to see one turning over 500,000 miles and to see them kicking butt on the track. Legions of festivas are still on the road today even though production stopped for the US market in 1993. The cult following is huge and rabid.
Umm, GVWR is 680 lbs. Unless you weigh 400 lbs, you should be able to haul well over 2 wheelbarrows. Besides, who pays attention to that number anyway?
