SHOW GALLERY: THE LONG BEACH SWAP MEET – DECEMBER 2011

While most of the country is feeling the cold of winter, the Bang Shifters of SoCal just keep right on cruising in the warm weather. It’s OK to hate them cause in the first eleven days of December they had John Force’s Christmas Car Show, Pomona Swap Meet, the Mooneye’s Christmas Car Show, and the Long Beach Swap Meet….twice! To help us forget about the coming snow and ice, we made our SoCal reporter get up at 5 a.m. on Sunday to go cover the show for us in the frozen tundra.

Scott didn’t disappoint as he got nearly 100 pictures for us rides that include the good, the bad, and the What The Hell?! A couple of the highlights include a black and white ’57 Chevy 150 Utility Sedan with the injected 283, four speed stick, and dog dish caps just like the famed Black Widows. Another is the absolutely beatiful ’61 bubble top Catalina pushed by a aluminum headed, dual quad 421 and four speed. You will have to click on the link below to see these great cars and all the others.
