NitroArtVideo Released Their “Wild Rides” Of 2015 – Carnage, Great Saves, Legendary Flight

We respect lunatics that hustle like we do during the racing season at Kevin Maurer at NitroArtVideo is one of those guys. This dude is at dozens of racing events a year all across the southern part of the country and he hits tracks that you know like South Georgia Motorsports Park and other backwater locations that we’ve never laid eyes on before. With a concentration on small tire and grudge style racing, you can imagine that he’s not at a shortage of wacky footage to show off, right? That’s the truth because the dude cranks out a yearly “Wild Rides” DVD that’ll have you wearing out the edge of your couch. He releases a teaser each year to show you a sample of what’s on the full length video and that’s what we have for you below. Two minutes of just flat nasty stuff.

The most astonishing clip you will see in the video embedded below was captured at SGMP and it is the flight of the Golden Gorilla, the famed Camaro of Dwayne Mills. It was a flight with a disastrous crash landing that left Mills banged up and the car all but totaled. It was since repaired and spent the majority of the racing season attacking tracks all over the country. You can bet he’ll be back at SGMP in February for sure. The amount of time the car spends essentially floating in the air is astonishing. The landing was going to be ugly either way but if the flight path had not drifted left the damage wouldn’t have been as bad…maybe.

We say this too often, but if anyone wonders why this type of drag racing is so popular these days, look no further than this non-stop crazed action.
