(Photos courtesy of Optima Batteries) – While we showed you some cool shots from the road course action portion of the 2013 Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational on Friday, we think the best action photos came from the intense competition on the autocross course. The cool thing about the OUSCI is that the cars do get tested in multiple ways. From the speed stop to the autocross, to the hot lap, it is a great all-around mix of stuff to keep all of the competitors honest and to see who has the most balanced and well rounded car…along with who brings their driving chops to the table!

In this gallery you will see the best of the best getting after it. From sideways Camaros and Mustangs to sleek late model muscle that seems to be literally glued to the ground, there’s some tasty photo goodness in here for every fan of pro touring cars, no matter the make, model, or year. At a normal autocross cones are killed by people who just don’t have the talent to figure the quick way around the course. At an event like OUSCI, cones are killed due to competitors who know that they have to be on the knife edge of perfection to compete, pushing themselves and their cars to the limit. You’ll see plenty of that here!
