Swedes. We love these guys because they come up with awesome methods to both play in and move snow. There seems to be no end to their creativity and this video is further proof. The builder of this creation managed to convert a pretty ho-hum Jeep Cherokee into a romping, stomping, snow dominating machine by taking an old Toro snow blower and mounting a 900cc engine from a Ninja motorcycle to it for power. It seems like the only throttle position is wide open and it does a good job of flinging the white stuff like there is no tomorrow!
The video is pretty quick but we get to see some shots of the whole machine coming together and then it screams to life. Perhaps the best part of the whole situation is the fact that the builder put legit zoomie pipes on the engine with absolutely no intention of doing anything but celebrating the ear splitting noise that it makes. Again, hero level.
We say that the only throttle position seems to be wide open because in the shallow snow the thing is screaming hard but when it gets to the deep stuff the motor lugs down and has to chug to dig through the mess. It never falters and as you will see, throwing for distance is not a problem. If the guy already had the parts, the only thing this cost him was some welding wire, scrap metal, and gasoline. Damn it we love this!
