As another foot of snow falls here at BS eastern world HQ today after the three feet we got last week, things are getting a little tight. I failed on a deal to grab a tractor before this winter and now I am sad and looking for alternatives. As you know, we have fawned over this fantastic old Ferguson tractor in Norway that was re-powered with a Jag V12 engine. With 12-zoomie style exhaust pipes it has always sounded good in short bursts of heavy throttle work action or speeding down the driveway of the guy who built it. This video is the first time we really get to heat that engine hunker down and do some work for an extended period of time as the owner has installed a bad ass PTO driven snow blower to the rear of the tractor. The last video we showed you, the tractor had a little back dragging plow. That was cute and all, but this man-eating snowblower is way cooler. It throws the snow in a massive V pattern behind the tractor which leaves a nice clear path behind the machine. When it gets a full mouth of snow you can hear the operator going nearly wide open to keep it working and what’s even better, it throws plumes of snow 20-30 feet in the air!

As we said above, the previous videos of the tractor didn’t give us a whole lot of time to fully experience the sound of the engine actually loaded down and working. As good as it sounds sprinting up and down the driveway, it sounds WAY better when really having to furrow its brow. When the tractor really gets into the deep stuff with the snow blower you can only see the huge jets of show shooting into the sky, the tractor disappears but you sure can hear it.

If it is even possible, this makes us want the Ferguar even more! We could even put the sucker to work here almost immediately. Think we can ship it from Norway to Boston before tomorrow night. Would Connie Kalitta help us out with that? We’d of course need to accept the tractor as a free donation. Hey, it’ll give that dude the chance to build an even cooler one. We’re givers, that is how we roll.
