For nearly 30 years the city of Seal Beach, California has been holding a yearly car show on their picturesque main street. This year, hundreds of cool cars attended the show which gets the local population out in droves to soak up the California sun, hang out at the great beach, and see some of the nicest muscle cars, hot rods, classics, race cars, and trucks that show up. There are a bunch of activities like a pinewood derby for the kids to keep the whole family involved. We were there and have almost 200 photos to share! Fun fact: The city of Seal Beach once had a Saleen Mustang patrol car. It wasn’t a drug seizure, it was a specially prepared Saleen that the company marketed for police use. It had some upgrades that went well beyond the police Mustangs of the 1980s and early 1990s. It also had the old “whale’s tail” style Saleen wing on it! Seal Beach was the only municipality to buy one of these cars. We wonder where it is now?
