If you’ve ever wanted to get a sneak preview of what the end of the world will sound like, attend a tractor pull where the big, 8,000-pound Unlimited Modifieds are competing. Better yet, buy this one that’s for sale over on RacingJunk.com. When the hammer drops on the three- and four-engine tractors, the noise is beyond description, and that’s in the stands. We can only imagine the feeling and sound of sitting in the roll cage with our hand on throttle lever.
The rules of the class are pretty simple, the tractor cannot weigh more than 8,000 pounds, you can run as many motors as weight will allow, none of them can be running on nitro, and the rear tires can only measure 30.5″ wide. Take that short list of rules and build the nastiest piece you can.
We think this tractor is sweet for a few reasons. First, it has three motors. Blown, alky drinking, 572ci big block Chevy mills, to be exact. They all sport totally neato vertical injector hats, and they were built by Fowler Racing Engines. The motors only have ten runs on them, and to sweeten the deal, the seller is throwing in a couple of aluminum Arias blocks, cranks, billet rods, and a host of other parts.
The paint looks great and would be the perfect base color to use if we were going to slather a couple of massive BangShift.com logos on the fenders.
Even sitting still this machine pegs the ooga booga meter!
