We’re relentless beating the drum about the RPM Act because we believe with all of our heart that it needs to pass to make sure that there won’t be some crummy idiot politician in the future who comes along with the idea that racing needs to be removed from the fabric of the country. The RPM Act is our way as hot rodders and racers to make sure the EPA cannot encroach on your ability to covert a street car into a race car. When you think about the implications of that scenario it should send chills down your spine.
BangShift was one of the leaders in helping get the word out about the RPM Act in 2016. With the elections and a new congress it means a new RPM Act and a new process to get it passed. This is where you come in…again. Watch this quick video and follow the link at the end. Spend less than two minutes of your day sending a letter (via the link with some clicks and information) and help get this act pushed through congress.
The future of hot rodding is in our hands. WE CANNOT WASTE THIS OPPORTUNITY!
I wasn’t able to link to the petition from this post so I went on SEMA/SAN and signed the petition. I suggest that y’all do the same. They ask for a bit more info than I really wanted to provide but evidently this is what they need to have our signatures count.

the epa and others have done a great job …. now its time for them to ride off into the sunset and leave us alone …any american built car over thirty years old should be considered a symbol of american inventiveness and creativity, and should be exempt from all smog laws and licensing restrictions.
