Yep, Newbern is making sure his kid Luke is ready for the racing life and that meant grabbing a Jr. Dragster that came available for cheap. The engine on it was junk, so he’s making other arrangements, and it also needs a bunch of other little things. Well and one not so little thing called brakes. But those are no fun and not the subject of this video because it is way more important to figure out and install a new engine so Luke can go make some hits in it. He has been around his dad enough to know that logical order isn’t always the order of reality, so he needs to learn some lessons now. Check it out.
Video Description:
On this episode we finally get my son Lucas’s JR Dragster running. I bought this from some friends of ours in Mississippi. We tried to get the old engine running with no luck. I made some calls and everyone told me the “Ghost” engine from Harbor Freight was a great engine to start with. We got the old engine out and the new one installed. Unfortunately the brakes need work but that didn’t stop Luke, see what I did there? He wanted to try it out whether it could stop or not. If you purchase the Ghost engine be sure and get the accessory kit that goes with it.
