DON’T CALL IT A COMEBACK! FINNEGAN’S RUBBER DUCK 1967 FIREBIRD IS TAKING TO THE TRACK IN PURSUIT OF AN 8 SECOND TIME SLIP!

DON’T CALL IT A COMEBACK! FINNEGAN’S RUBBER DUCK 1967 FIREBIRD IS TAKING TO THE TRACK IN PURSUIT OF AN 8 SECOND TIME SLIP!

Finnegan is back at it, and out of the boot for his broken leg, and that means it is time to get out there in the Rubber Duck 1967 Firebird to see if he can get this thing to break into the 8’s finally. It makes power and if they can get it dialed in I think this thing will be a fun 8 second street car. I mean who doesn’t like a Pro Street car with a blower on it?

In the video below you’ll see Finnegan at Alabama International putting the Firebird through its paces and having a bit of a shootout with Newbern and his Fox Body Mustang.

Video Description:

We are rapidly approaching the big 300 and in Episode 291 of Mike Finnegan’s Garage we head back to Alabama International Dragway in Steele, Alabama, to track test the Rubber Duck. My 1967 Pontiac Firebird 400 is a legit barn find, a car that my friends and I drug out of a Georgia wood barn after lying dormant for 16 years. Since that day we have been tweaking and refining this Pro Street car in search of turning it into an 8 second street/strip car.
