Vice Grip Garage Garbage Camaro Build: Kevin Tetz Is Giving It A Nose Job, And Fixing LOTS Of Damage

The Garbage Camaro is back. It’s fixable, but man is it going to take some work. In this episode Kevin is doing a nose job on it and starting in on lots of other repairs.

Not long ago, Kevin Tetz and Derek Bieri made a deal that put one of Derek’s old 2nd Gen Camaros in the hands of Kevin, a seasoned veteran of many restorations. He has big plans for the Camaro, but first it is going to need a lot of sheet metal work. This thing is rough. Rough enough that many people would walk away from a project car like this. But not Kevin. He’s built his fair share of 2nd Gen Camaros and knows what needs doing on them. So check out this one here and let us know if you would touch it.

Video Description:

Here we go again! Wasting valuable time on a car that should be giving itself back to nature slowly. This 74 LT came from a fence-row at ‪@ViceGripGarage‬ through a horse-trade with Derek Bieri… I think I came out on the losing end.( I didn’t I LOVE this car!) Regardless, I can’t let it go! So we’re gonna make it into the Camaro I’ve always wanted… a 1970 Split-Bumper RS, with the help of ‪@autometaldirect‬ and some basic fab tools. Thanks for watching!!! For training on these and other skills head over to https://www.paintucation.com/ for all kinds of instructional videos.

WE’RE BACK BABY!!! I’ve been chomping at the bitt to get back to work on the Camaro… I haven’t been frustrated in a while, and I needed to get stressed out over a stupid car again, so we dive into the wadded up driver door area. Spoiler alert, it’s messed up! But it’s ONLY METAL! Thanks for watching!!!
