The 6th Gathering at the Roc ’25 Car Show Video: Part 2 – Hot Rods Invade What Might Be The Coolest Show In The Country

The Gathering at the Roc is a truly special car show, and for good reason. This show is held at Woolaroc, a wildlife preserve located in Oklahoma that features 3,700 acres of ranch lands that have been made into a preserve for both native and exotic animals. The beauty of this location is that it isn’t just a static car show, because there are roads to cruise and landscape to enjoy and that is exactly what folks do. Yes, there are a few hundred cars on site, but this show is about more than just cars parked in one spot all day. In fact, it’s a lot more.

This show is referred to as a traditional hot rod show for the discerning man. It makes us laugh when we say it, but its also pretty fitting.

Video Description:

Well I guess this as a first I got to see an Ostrich try to Race a Hotrod for the first time in my life haha……Thats how special gathering at the Roc is.

Well after a couple of years of filming the cars rolling into the Roc I decided to move out to one of the coolest parts of the facility the stone bridge that crosses the reservoir. I knew it would be a epic spot because they had set drone footage coming across the bridge there last year, but didn’t realize the sun was in such a epic spot plus being able to see the reflections of the Hotrods rolling in the water was a pleasant surprise.

I rolled in with the 6 am crew and was able to follow Rob Ida’s Jag in the dark across the same bridge, and would have loved to do this with a sunrise……but hey……beggars can’t be choosers. haha

The actual show was pretty amazing from this years AMBR car rolling out to the show with all the other hotrods at 6am to the official debut of the restoration of the Little Deuce Coupe that is famous for not only being a badass show car, but was also on the beach boys album cover of the same title. In fact it was so epic it won the coveted Peoples Choice award built by last years winner Jimmie Herveton who also took home our belt buckle for building the best award of the show.

Glad to finally get this up before I have to load the sprinter and head to Kansas/Iowa/Minnesota/Illinois/Michigan/NorthCarolina/Arizona! haha

Thanks for taking the time to watch and hope to see you at a car show in the future JJ ‪@NotStockPhoto‬
