Retro is in and retro pro-street is REALLY in these days so we can totally see someone scoring this sweet Weiand tunnel ram intake manifold that is topped with a pair of hardcore 1980s Predator carbs which sit atop a pair of NOS nitrous plates. The setup came off of a Chrysler big block engine and with the right amount of polish would look totally gnarly coming through the hood of your fat tired Roadrunner, Volare, or Belvedere. There was a time when this was the necessary combo for making serious horsepower and while the Predator carb’s day in the sun was a while back, they were found on lots of stuff. There are guys who still swear that they can be made to run happily on the street. It should be noted that Predator did (or does?) make a version of the carb with an idle circuit so they can be tuned for “street driving”. From mud trucks to pro stockers to monster trucks, these carbs were a common sight in the motorsports arena back in the day. On the street they sure had some big wow factor as they look like nothing else with respect to carbs or a typical induction system.
Are there ways to go faster more conventionally? Sure there are. Are there better ways to stop traffic on the way into the cruise night? Maybe not! We hope someone jams this setup on top of a hot big block Chrysler and leaves those Predators hanging out in the breeze! Think the nitrous system was ever used?

I always wondered how driveable a tunnel ram would be with fuel injectors and a couple throttle body’s up top?
That would make a great Bar B Q pit about 30ft off the starting line lol
There’s not a picture looking straight down the throats of the carbs. Predators did not like to be backfired and it often screwed the throttle plates or whatever they’re called on a predator up.
Am I the only one here who thought this would look great poking through project Raven’s hood? I know it’s not the direction it’s going right now, but picture “Raven” as a sweet polished up mid 80s prostreet. Toss on lots of anodized metal and a ridiculous purple/pink/magenta paint job. That’s it; we need a kick-starter.
