We think we’ve located the coolest car show in England and it’s happening this August. Thanks to a tip from the ADRL’s Ian Tocher we checked out the website for this neat gathering called The Hot Rod Hayride. Now we’re trying to figure a way to get across the pond to take it in.
It’s got the whole Billetproof vibe happening and is open to 1966 and earlier rods and customs. This is a “traditional” type show, so pack your hair grease. We’re wondering out loud if guitar god Jeff Beck attends this show as he is a documented hot rod nut and is very much into “correct” type iron. The stuff he owns is mostly traditional and authentic so this would be right in his wheelhouse.
